Retirement of Rev Dr Andrew Ritchie

Rev Dr Andrew Ritchie retired at the end of August 2011 after 20 years of ministry at Craiglockhart Parish Church.  Andrew's commitment and contribution to the life and witness of the church was recognised at the end of the morning service on Sunday 28th August.  Andrew, accompanied by his wife Sheila and their four children, received the best wishes of the congregation during a presentation to commemorate Andrew's retirement.  Don Glass, Session Clerk, spoke of Andrew's contribution to the church over his 20 year ministry at Craiglockhart.  Andrew's sons, Neil and Euan, responded on behalf of their father.  We wish Andrew well as he and Sheila move to Glasgow.

The church is now in a period of vacancy when it will be seeking to appoint a new minister.  During the vacancy, Peter Nelson will be acting as locum minister.  Peter will be leading Sunday morning worship, as well as spending a day per week in the parish.
