Sunday

We learn from the Bible that worship is a way of life. We worship God when we act in kindness and with patience towards one another. We worship God when we stand up for justice, care for the poor and help those in need. Worship is our whole life lived for Christ.

Worship is also what we do when we gather together. Regularly each week we hold times of worship when we gather to pray together, to hear God's word and to sing of God's glory. We look forward to welcoming you to any or all of our times of worship.

We meet for worship on Sunday mornings at 10.30 am. In our services we aim to reflect a combination of traditional and contemporary worship styles.

We sing together – our hymns are both ancient and modern and we make use of organ music and the musical gifts of members of our congregation.

We pray together – in our prayers we offer adoration to God, we make confession of our sin, we give thanks to God, we pray for God’s help in hearing his word to us and we pray for others. We learn together – in all our services we hear God’s word read for us and we have times in the service both with our children and with all who join us to learn what God is saying to us in his word and how this will impact our lives every day of the week.

We value participation – we recognise that God has given gifts to members of our congregation to share in providing music, reading from the bible, leading us in prayer and teaching us of the bible and we celebrate the contributions to our worship from all our members.
